How to play Word Pop
Nine letter tiles fill the board. Tap letters in order to spell a word, then hit Submit.
Valid words pop, score points, and get replaced with fresh letters. Tap a letter you've already picked to rewind your selection back to just before it.
Longer words score more, with a length bonus kicking in at 6+ letters.
Example
Tap C → A → T to spell CAT for +100 points. Spell CATS instead (4 letters) and you'll score more — longer words are worth exponentially more.

Tips & strategy
- Consecutive valid words build a combo multiplier just like Number Pop, up to 2× at a 5-word streak.
- An invalid word, one that's too short, or a repeat resets your combo — plan your next word before submitting.
- Stuck? Use Shuffle in Classic mode to rearrange the board instead of giving up.

What dictionary does Word Pop use?+
A curated, bundled offline word list, pre-filtered to keep it family-friendly. It ships with the app, so word validation works even with no internet connection.
Are proper nouns or abbreviations allowed?+
No — only real dictionary words in the bundled word list count. Proper nouns, abbreviations and slang aren't recognized as valid.
What's the difference between Classic and 60 Seconds mode?+
Classic has no clock — you play until you run out of good words on the board (with Shuffle available any time). 60 Seconds is a sprint: make as many valid words as you can before time runs out.
Can I play Word Pop offline?+
Yes — the entire dictionary is bundled with the app, so Classic, 60 Seconds and Daily Word all work fully offline.
