How to play Number Pop
Number Pop plays on a 4×4 grid. Swipe up, down, left or right and every tile slides as far as it can in that direction.
When two tiles carrying the same number collide, they merge into one tile worth double. A new tile (usually a 2, sometimes a 4) appears somewhere empty after every swipe that actually moves something.
The game ends when the board is completely full and no two neighbouring tiles share a value — no legal move left.
Example
2 + 2 = 4 → 4 + 4 = 8 → 8 + 8 = 16. Swipe left with a row of "2 2 0 0" and it becomes "4 0 0 0" — you just scored 4 points.

Tips & strategy
- Merge on consecutive swipes to build a combo multiplier — up to 2× at a 5-swipe streak (MEGA POP!).
- Keep your highest tile pinned in a corner so you don't box yourself in.
- A swipe with no merge resets your combo, so plan ahead rather than swiping randomly.

Is Number Pop the same as 2048?+
Number Pop is a modern take on the classic 2048 tile-merge formula, with its own combo-multiplier scoring system, streak bonuses, achievements and a daily challenge on top of the core swipe-to-merge mechanic.
What's the highest tile I can reach?+
There's no hard cap — 2048 is the classic milestone (and unlocks an achievement), but skilled players can keep merging well past it on a fresh board.
Does Number Pop save my progress automatically?+
Yes. Your best score, best combo and highest tile are saved on your device automatically after every game — no account or sign-up needed.
Is there a time limit?+
Classic mode has no time limit — play at your own pace. Only the Daily Challenge has a fixed target to reach, with no clock running against you.
